Lauren Ridley, People Partner

As a People Partner at Octavia House Schools, I provide HR advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle. I partner with leaders and colleagues to design and deliver people plan initiatives aligned with our people strategy and business objectives. I am passionate about fostering a positive, people‑centred culture and creating an environment where everyone can thrive. I have a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and a CIPD Diploma in People Management.

Harjeet Kang, People Coordinator

As a People Coordinator, I guide colleagues throughout their OHS journey, from onboarding to ongoing support, acting as a key point of contact within the People function. I manage people data and systems, coordinate onboarding, and contribute to People initiatives, working closely with the People Team, Head Office and wider Leadership Team.

I enjoy supporting colleagues, solving problems, improving processes and contributing to a collaborative and supportive working environment. I hold a BSc in Human Resources and Business Management and am currently completing the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma Apprenticeship in Strategic People Management alongside my role.

Lauren Walters, Recruiter
As a Recruiter I play a key role in both finding and hiring, and in supporting our new colleagues throughout their onboarding journey with OHS. I work closely with our People Team and our school leaders to understand our resourcing needs and find top talent for our schools. The best part of my role is being able to create a positive and supportive experience for every candidate, guiding them through the end-to-end recruitment process.

Paul Farrant, Facilities Manager

Since working for Octavia House Schools I have had the opportunity to utilise all my professional skill set as a Facilities Manager which I find really rewarding. For example, overseeing the rebuild of Great Baddow School and project managing the Nine Elms school. Alongside this, I am able to work with a diverse team of building contractors, overseeing their work, whilst also getting my own hands dirty.
